A planned water interruption in suburbs across Pretoria was postponed on Friday afternoon.

Tshwane metro spokesperson Goitsemang Molaeng said the scheduled maintenance and upgrading of the water supply network in the eastern suburbs of Tshwane has been postponed until further notice.

“The city apologises for the inconvenience that might arise as a result of this postponement.”

The water supply interruption was planned for Tuesday 19 July and might have lasted for up to 48 hours.

 

These are the areas that would be affected:

La Montagne, Die Wilgers, Murrayfield, Mamelodi, Silverton, Garsfontein, Ashlea Gardens, Samcor Park, Silverton, Silvertondale, Villieria, Jan Niemandpark, Waltloo, East Lynne, Rietfontein, Val-de-Grace, Kilnerpark, Meyerspark, Equestria, Lynnwood Glen, Lynnwood, Lynnwood Park, Faerie Glen, CSIR, Waverley, Eersterust, Queenswood, Brummeria, Constantia Park, Newlands, Ekklesia, Waterkloof Glen, Moreletapark, Alphenpark, Menlyn and Lynnwood Ridge.
